Much of the visitor facing day-to-day operations in the cultural heritage tourism sector rely heavily on short term or part-time students.

Students look for positions that will capture their passion, add to their resume, balance their studies, and provide a reasonable wage.

On Monday, February 5, 2024, the Kingston & Area Association of Museums, Art Galleries + Historic Sites will be facilitating an interactive panel discussion with sector professionals covering the many aspects of student human resource management. We are pleased to have:

Nancy McGarvie, Senior Corporate Services Manager, KEYS

Sonia Verjovsky, Project Supervisor - Workplace Inclusion Charter, KEYS

Kevin Moorhouse, Museum Manager & Program Director, Museum of Healthcare

Jamie McKenzie-Naish, Executive Director, KAM

Debbie Holdich, Office Coordinator, KAM

This group will be leading our discussions. Please register through the link provided. This event is free to KAM members and Non-members. We look forward to seeing you then!
