Miss this year's Summer Family Program? Participants ages 6-12 can join us in November to wrap up Canada's 150th birthday.A hands-on exploration of over 150 years of medical advancement in Canada. Learn about healthcare practices around the time of Confederation. Handle medical artefacts and learn about treatments for various ailments by asking different "professionals" for their medical advice -- some advice will be scientifically sound and some will be quackery! Create and take home your own home remedy to a common ailment from the 1800s. Recommended for ages 6-12. Accompanying adults welcome. Pre-registration required (spaces are limited).
