Tett Artist-in-Residence Audrey Chen will introduce you to the world of Augmented Reality (AR). Audrey will briefly discuss the current popularity of AR, its impact on our daily lives, and its potential applications. Participants will then have the opportunity to create their own AR images. You will start by decorating physical objects such as vinyls and transforming them into digital AR images. This hands-on experience will provide insight into the world of AR and encourage you to explore creating digital filters in the future!

ABOUT the Artist
Audrey (Baiqing) Chen is a digital media artist currently studying Media and Performance Production at Queen's University. She is one of the Tett Artist-in-Residence recipients in 2024. Her passion lies in multimedia storytelling, where she merges physical objects with digital technologies to craft immersive experiences. Currently, she's involved in several projects, including the upcoming Jinsha Culture Exhibition at the Tett Gallery in March!
