On Thursday, July 25th, 2024 , the Kingston & Area Association of Museums, Art Galleries + Historic Sites will be facilitating "Critical Approaches to Project Grants" as part of the CKHF Grant Writing Series, starting at 10:00 am via Zoom.
This online workshop will explore best practices of project planning, funding application scripting, risk assessment and measuring impact. Taking direction from the City of Kingston Heritage Fund objectives, this workshop will help develop the tools needed for a successful grant application.

Jamie’s professional and academic backgrounds are eclectic and interdisciplinary in nature. With over 20 years’ experience in culture, heritage and education, she has worked a variety of formal and informal learning environments with a variety of learning audiences and groups, and a variety of museum collections, both in Canada and the United Kingdom. She holds her MA in Museum Studies, her Bachelor of Education with primary/junior certification, and her PRINCES2 project management qualification. Alongside her expertise in learning and resources development, she has extensive experience in administrating and managing cultural heritage programs, budget, staff, as well as grant writing! She is a passionate advocate for culture and heritage and best practices built on sustainable solutions, creative collaboration, and ethical innovation.
