Operating Grants

CKHF operating grants assist non-profit, cultural heritage organizations with operational stability and capacity building, enabling the development and delivery of cultural heritage programming and services in the community, in alignment with heritage fund objectives. Cultural heritage includes activities that present the traditions and historical practices of the community. Operating grants will support core operating expenses and programming costs, in line with CKHF objectives.

The CKHF offers two types of grants within the operating stream:

FULL OPERATING GRANTS support cultural heritage organizations that operate on a year-round basis with day-to-day running costs.  Organizations may apply up to a maximum amount of $75,000.

INVESTMENT OPERATING GRANTS support cultural heritage organizations that operate on a seasonal or otherwise limited basis in developing the potential of their operational capacities. Organizations may apply up to a maximum amount of $5,000.
