
Holiday themed woodland crafts and events indoors – strings lights while sipping hot chocolate outdoors! Come and hang a string of lights in our arboretum and create your own centerpiece while your children create ornaments, gifts and toys using traditional materials. This event will focus on the changing season and how community and light are important to all of us. From creating log reindeer using hand tools to learning about what woodland creatures do to survive winter – your whole family will be part of what it means to be part of winter in Kingston.Featured Activity: Wreath Making, $5Noon – 5 pmJoin Councillor Jeff Scott for wreath making, using natural supplies. Jeff will also discuss the origins and history of the wreath as an ornament. Take your completed wreath home with you.
