Head to 'Tuesday Night at the Museum' on April 19th for an engaging conversation with field naturalist, Terry Sprague. When Terry Sprague sold the family farm in 1976, he had a chance meeting with the late Jack Christie of Glenora Fisheries that began a career of working with wildlife, ultimately becoming a park naturalist and enjoying almost 40 years of interpreting nature through hikes, eventually developing an outdoor program for Quinte Conservation. During that time, he has been the pied piper of nature from Kingston to Cobourg, and has done workshops, seminars, boat tours, kayak tours, aerial tours, and even caving. As he entertains thoughts of retirement, he has amassed an enormous collection of stories and misadventures, some of which he will share in this presentation.About Terry Sprague: Terry was employed as a resource technician at Glenora Fisheries Research 1979-1983, and as an interpretive naturalist at Sandbanks Provincial Park 1984-1991. Worked at Quinte Conservation delivering a series of outdoor interpretive programs from 1996-2004, and now freelances from home as a professional naturalist and consultant. He operates a private business NatureStuff Tours, offering guided hikes, speaking engagements, kayak and canoe tours, seminars, and bus tours. He owns and maintains his own website “NatureStuff - Tours and Things” at www.naturestuff.net. He is also freelance writer on the subject of natural history, and wrote a regular column for many newspapers in the region.About 'Tuesday Night at the Museum' This event is proudly presented by the Lennox & Addington County Museum & Archives.
