New Exhibit Opening at the Museum of Health Care The Museum of Health Care is proud to announce the opening of a new onsite exhibit, Trench Menders: Health Care during the First World War. The new bilingual exhibit engages visitors with the practice of medicine and nursing during the First World War, with an emphasis on Kingston’s connections to the war effort. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the exhibit, listen to first-hand stories in the oral histories corner and add their own story to the community scrapbook board. The opening reception will include a special half hour re-enactment by Dr. Gregory Baran as 20th century Kingston physician Dr. Cumberland. Please join us in celebrating this new exhibit on Thursday, February 26, 2015 starting at 7pm. Refreshments will follow.
