CFRC 101.9fm, Kingston's campus and community radio station, presents a reception and launch for 'Speaking Stones,' a project in collaboration with Queen's University Archives made possible through the support of the City of Kingston Heritage Fund. 'Speaking Stones' revitalizes the Stones Guide to the Social History of Kingston, updating the Guide's website for mobile-device-ready navigation,  integrating audio into the walking tours and interactive mapping offered by the site, enhancing the site's French-language resources, and promoting the site and Kingston social history through community radio and social media. The launch and reception will feature an interactive presentation by the lead developer of the new site, along with a meet-and-greet among project participants. Light refreshments will be served. The 'Speaking Stones' launch and reception is scheduled to take place at City Hall in Memorial Hall, on Thursday, November 20 from 7:30-9:30pm.  The event is free and all are welcome.  Memorial Hall is a wheelchair-accessible venue.
