Inspired by the exhibition, Leiden circa 1630: Rembrandt Emerges, this workshop will focus on art’s dark and shadowy side, and will explore key components of Rembrandt’s masterful craftsmanship such as texture and chiaroscuro. INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY Natasha Jabre is a representational painter whose work highlights the strangeness of everyday situations using symbolism and surreal lighting. She received her BFA from Concordia University in Montreal and her MFA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in North Dartmouth, MA.
