The Agnes is part of Kingston’s first youth arts festival, Juvenis. Geared to ages 13–30, Juvenis focuses on participatory events in all art forms. We will offer two workshops led by Ben Darrah, and a display of art by youth in the studio. The ArtZone after school drop-in program for teens began at the Agnes in the fall of 2015, with the support of the Community Foundation of Kingston and Area. With strong participation, we were encouraged to continue it this past winter. These open artist-led sessions introduce weekly themes and also support those pursuing their own creative direction.
