Grant writing is a critical skill necessary to all cultural heritage organizations.Year over year, cultural heritage organizations work to continue to grow, innovate and champion ethical, respectful discussions throughout the community.To do this, they rely on diversified revenue streams to secure their annual operations, ranging from specific project funding, fundraising, as well as public and private grant programs.Successful grant writing is a skill to be honed and developed.On Thursday, July 23, 2020, the Kingston Association of Museums, Art Galleries + Historic Sites CKHF Grants Team will be facilitating "How Do I?...Operating/Investment Funding 2020 and Beyond" starting at 10:00 am via Zoom.This online workshop will explore best practices for operational planning, funding application scripting, risk assessment and measuring impact.
