
A Jane Jacob WalkHistoric Barriefield Village was the first heritage Conservation district in Ontario & recently celebrated its 200th anniversary. The tour highlights distinctive heritage architecture, stories about residents, cultural heritage landscapes, and the battles that have occurred, both in its military history, and in the struggle to conserve and protect its heritage from unsympathetic development. Maybe you know some stories to share with others about Dollar Bill or other colourful early residents, or have read about the village in "Lilacs and Limestone".
