Come out and celebrate the spooky season of Halloween with the Marine Museum and your community. This family-friendly Halloween event invites you to dress up in costume and have a festive afternoon. This event includes activities like pumpkin carving, a scavenger hunt to find Black Beard’s Bones, Halloween crafts, and a Ghost Pirate Ship!
Halloween on the High Seas also welcomes the contributions of partners Neptune and Salacia Diving for underwater pumpkin carving and Tall Ships Expeditions Canada - Brigantine Inc. for the spookiest ship on the seven seas - the Ghost Ship St. Lawrence II! Take a photo at the wheel with a swarthy swashbuckling pirate as you join a crew of bilge rats and ne'er-do-wells on a Halloween Tall Ship adventure!
Those in costume will have their name entered into a draw to win prizes, so show up in your best costume (marine costumes are encouraged!). Event goers will also have a chance to trick-or-treat and collect some treats as activities are completed and crafts are made.
