Please join us at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre for a Memorial Reception for Emeritus Frances K. Smith who passed away on 22 December 2012. She was an inspiring figure and a force in the early establishment of the Art Centre. There will be a formal memorial service for Frances Smith at St. James Church in Kingston on 13 April, at 10:30 am, followed by a reception at the Art Centre.We are honoured to be a part of the celebration of her life, which has left such a substantial legacy in our collections and at the very heart of the gallery’s identity and place in the wider community.
