On July 7th, you're invited to hear the crackle of the hearth and smell the soup pot simmering at the Macpherson House in Napanee. Culinary Historian, Fiona Lucas, will be in the Summer Kitchen cooking up some historic recipes. Visitors can observe Fiona at work and ask questions about historic kitchens and her favourite oldtime meals. She may even pass the spoon to stir from time to time. Come to the House this afternoon to meet her and learn more about historic cooking and the Ontario Culinary Historians.
