City of Kingston Heritage Fund Awards $282,763 for 2019 KINGSTON, ONT./ January 10, 2019 - The City of Kingston Heritage Fund (CKHF) will present a total of $282,763 to ten Kingston heritage organizations, dedicated to enriching the cultural and heritage sector. The funding will support day-to-day operations and unique cultural heritage projects in 2019. The Kingston Association of Museums, Art Galleries & Historic Sites (KAM) are pleased to host a cheque presentation event on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10:00 am, at the Military Communications & Electronics Museum, 75 Craftsman Blvd. The public is welcome to attend and support the successful organizations. “The City of Kingston Heritage Fund aligns with the City’s strategic objectives to support and celebrate our city’s rich heritage.” explains Jennifer Campbell, the City’s Manager of Cultural Heritage. Dave St. Onge, president of the Kingston Association of Museums, Art Galleries and Historic Sites commented that “Our Association is pleased, not only to assist the City in the administration of the annual Heritage Fund, but more so, to continue our support of our vibrant and diverse cultural heritage sector in contributing to the quality of life in our community.
