An extraordinary number of cookbooks have been published in Ontario since The Cook Not Mad first appeared, in Kingston in 1831. Liz Driver will discuss her top ten favourite Ontario cookbooks up to the mid-twentieth century, including the remarkable Dora’s Cook Book, by Dora Fairfield of Bath, 1888. About Liz Driver: Liz is the author of the definitive reference work Culinary Landmarks: A Bibliography of Canadian Cookbooks, 1825-1949 (University of Toronto Press, 2008). She enjoys preparing historic recipes using a wood stove in her farmhouse in Prince Edward County or in the open hearth kitchen of Campbell House Museum, where she is Director/Curator. Tuesday Night At The Museum  at the County Museum, Napanee 613-354-3027
