Photo Credit: Shayne DarkThe MacLachlan is pleased to host its first ever artist in residence, featuring Kingston’s own Shayne Dark. Over the course of six weeks, Dark will create a series of large-scale sculptures in wood on the museum grounds. This residency provides an opportunity for visitors to meet the artist and to experience the creative process firsthand. Dark is internationally recognized for his numerous public art projects and is also be featured in a companion exhibition at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, on until November 3, 2013.
