Mansoor Behnam is an experimental filmmaker and writer, currently working on his art/research PhD project in the Cultural Studies program at Queen’s. As the creative component of his project, Behnam has used tenets of Persian medieval mysticism (Sufism) to conceptualize a practice-based theory of “Mystical Experimental Cinema.” He will introduce and screen five short videos from this project, followed by a Q&A.This event is being held at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre at Queen's University.www.aeac.ca613-533-2190
