 A special Heritage Week event and Canada 150th exhibit opening "What Canada Wore: 1867-1967-2017"What were we wearing when Canada celebrated it's milestone birthdays? Do you remember “The Jackie”? How short was your mini-skirt? Clothing and accessories worn during the years of Canada's centennial year, 1967, are sure to make you smile and nostalgic. Fast forward to 2017, Canada  is celebrating its 150th birthday, what are our youth wearing today? This exhibit invites you to discover the messages of today’s youth as told through their clothing.You're invited to a fun 'Tuesday Night at the Museum' in Napanee on February 21st at 7pm. Andy Forgie’s one man show “They Don’t Write Em Like This Anymore” takes you back to the glory years of the singer /songwriters of 1960’s & 70’s. Iconic songs by Lennon & McCartney, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, The Band, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Harry Chapin and many more. Andy’s warm performance style and story-telling make for a wonderful evening sure to stir memories of when poignant lyrics and timeless melodies ruled the air waves.'Tuesday Night at the Museum' is a monthly feature at the L&A County Museum & Archives.
