EXPLORE.Superb summer programs for children and teens in 2019The André Biéler Studio is home base for Agnes Art Academy, a one-week course for teens, and Agnes Art Camp, five one-week art day camps for 6–12 year-olds. This program is supported by support from the City of Kingston Arts Fund through the Kingston Arts Council, the Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario, and the Rita Friendly Kaufman Fund. Members $160.Agnes Art Academy is for teens who are ready to take their art to the next level. With creativity exercises, individual skill-building and group creations, teens enjoy a day discovering the galleries and artmaking in the studio.INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAHYJulia Hegmann is a passionate art educator and artist, with experiences ranging from Program Assistant at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre to Education Intern at the National Gallery of Canada. She received a BAH in Art History and Mathematics from Queen’s University and will be graduating with her B.Ed from Queen’s University to teach Visual Art and Mathematics in the High School level.Link to event webpage and bursary application: https://agnes.queensu.ca/event/details/summer-camps-2/
