Doors Open Kingston 2021 - Kingston School of Art - Window Art Gallery

Saturday, September 25, 2021 - 12:00pm to Sunday, September 26, 2021 - 4:00pm

Welcome to our Doors Open 2021 Kingston!  Be part of that unique behind the scenes peeks within Kingston's cultural attractions!

The Kingston School of Art resides in a quaint limestone setting on the corner of Victoria and Princess Streets.  Founded in 1994 as a reaction to the growing need for accessible community art education, KSOA expanded years later to include gallery space which continues to showcase local artists both emerging and professional.  KSOA strives to explore, promote and exhibit, creation focussed art for all abilities.  Exhibiting a diverse line-up of art, the Kingston School of Art's Window Art Gallery is open for self-guided tours from 12pm to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  Our gallery is always open online.

Our Doors Open Tours are set up to follow health and safety guidelines as outlined in the Step 3 – Reopening Ontario legislation and KFL&A Public Health Unit specific protocols. Each of our participating sites has outlined their capacities and available tickets numbers are based on their input.

Please remember to bring an appropriate face mask or covering as recommended by the Kingston Public Health Unit. A small supply of masks will be available for each tour and hand sanitizer for your use.

Tours are scheduled from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday for 20 minutes (allowing time for cleaning and sanitizing between tours).

Please note that the Kingston School of Art has a Proof of Vaccination Status policy.  To enter the site, you will need to show your vaccine receipt(s) along with another piece of photo identification, such as a driver’s licence or health card.
