Nancy Douglas is a freelance illustrator and fine artist living in downtown Kingston. Her collage illustrations have been used for editorial, book and advertising publications since 1993. Most recently Nancy created an abstract collage artwork for Kingston WritersFest. Object drawing is Nancy’s favourite pastime; currently her practice incorporates large scale drawings and collage elements to depict everyday objects from her past. Nancy teaches extensively in Kingston public schools, and for Queen’s Faculty of Education. Nancy Douglas is this year’s Artist in Residence for RMC.
