UPDATE!

With the advent of Phase 3 re-opening, Doors Open Kingston is looking ahead to September 2020 and invites any interested cultural heritage space to participate!

 

Due to the exceptional circumstances of COVID-19, we are re-organizing Doors Open 2020 as a broader celebration of community cultural heritage spaces and an opportunity for the community to re-engage and explore this spaces in a safe and appropriate manner.

Doors Open Kingston 2020 will be open to any cultural heritage organization or site  who are willing and able to host organized tours of their heritage space according to required health and safety protocols.  It is up to you, as the participating organization to decide how many tour slots you can accomodate, type, duration, and how many spaces you have available (to established social circles)  based your physical space parameters.  The only stipulation is that the tour be free of charge (as mandated by the Doors Open program) and that you adhere to all established health and safety protocols.

KAM will organize all registration and contact tracing through Eventbrite and provide participating sites with PPE (disposable masks and hand sanitizer) for onsite staff and tour participants.
