Pop-up Museum Event Assistant

The Pop-up Museum Event Assistant will work with the pop-up museum committee to execute and deliver events. The primary purpose of this role is to assist with the execution of pop-up museum events.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Attend monthly pop-up museum events and assist with event programming.
  • Execute event set-up and tear down events in a timely manner.
  • Provide customer service to those who attend the event and interact with visitors in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Help administer event programming as needed for each event (i.e. help attract peopple to participate in the event activity)

Skills and experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service
  • Event organization and implementation experience
  • Interest in history, Stories and Kingston heritage
  • Familiarity with Ipad technology (an asset)

Time Commitment

Attend single day (3 hours) monthly events at to be determined dates.
