Pop-up Museum Program Assistant

The Pop-up Museum Program Assistant will work with the Coordinator to develop event programming content.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Help develop and create at-event activities that are accessible and applicable.
  • Assist with the creation of content utilizing office skills (i.e. printing, mounting, cutting, etc.)
  • Assist in recording, documenting and organizing information (i.e. artifact recording).
  • Research information as needed.
  • Help research content for the historical display at events; research Kingston heritage in relation to the event theme.

Skills & Experience

  • Office Administration skills
  • Education or event programming experience
  • Organization skills
  • Historical research skills
  • Computer literate
  • Interest in history, stories and Kingston Heritage
  • Experience with artifact database an asset

Time Commitment

Flexible hours and opportunities to work both/either at the KAM offices and/or from home.
