Your Own Grad School - Call for Artists

Date:
Wednesday, July 19, 2017 - 8:00am to Monday, July 31, 2017 - 11:45pm

In 2013, artists Cliff Eyland and Dr Jeanne Randolph initiated this artist-led project at Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre. In 2017, the project’s 5th year, the Agnes and Modern Fuel are thrilled to announce a new collaborative version.  A selection of eight artist participants will develop their practices through discussion with curators and other artists, studio visits with mentors, and focused studio work. Over the six-week period, they will have access to Modern Fuel’s New Media Workspace or the Agnes’s André Biéler Studio during regular operating hours, and will take part in open workshops with artist mentors Richard Ibghy, Marilou Lemmens and Amanda White. Drop in to watch the process unfold!

CALL FOR ARTIST PARTICIPANTS
We invite local artists who would like to participate in this year’s re-configured Your Own Grad School program to send an expression of interest. The session runs from 5 September to 20 October.  Please submit your proposal of 80–100 words, a short bio, and up to 5 jpgs to aeacpa@queensu.ca by 1 August 2017.
