Date
9 May, 2024 at 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Collaged images of a South Asian family. Discover (You)r History Workshop for Families with Children Ages 10 and Under. A collage activity using your family photographs to encourage conversations about family history.

Thursday, May 9 | 5-6:30PM

Activity Room in the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning, 370 King Street West

Families with children ages 10 and under are invited to bring a selection of family photos to explore with their children in a collage activity facilitated by Tett Artist in Residence Meenakashi Ghadial.

Families are invited to bring family photographs, which will be photocopied by the instructor for use in the activity. Through a series of prompts, families will be encouraged to discuss the photographs with their children, giving children the opportunity to learn about their ancestry and adults the opportunity to reflect on the memories captured. Photocopied images will then be used to create collaborative collages.

This event is presented as part of the Tett Artist Residency program.
