Liz Driver will discuss her top ten favourite Ontario cookbooks up to the mid-twentieth century, including the remarkable Dora’s Cook Book, by Dora Fairfield of Bath, 1888.
About Liz Driver: Liz is the author of the definitive reference work Culinary Landmarks: A Bibliography of Canadian Cookbooks, 1825-1949 (University of Toronto Press, 2008). She enjoys preparing historic recipes using a wood stove in her farmhouse in Prince Edward County or in the open hearth kitchen of Campbell House Museum, where she is Director/Curator.
