Art-in-Bloom at the Agnes

Friday, June 16, 2017 - 10:00am to Sunday, June 18, 2017 - 5:00pm

A team of talented artists, designers and gardeners have been working to create vivid floral interpretations of selected works of art in the spring exhibitions. The results will be on view at the Agnes, adjacent to the artworks that inspired them, for just a few days in June. The big reveal takes place on the evening of 15 June at a Gala Art-in-Bloom Reception.

The floral displays will remain on view 16 to 18 June. Visit and vote for your favourite interpretation. The People’s Choice winner will be announced at 3 pm on 18 June in the Atrium.

This seasonal spectacle is spearheaded by Catie Allan to showcase floral interpretations of selected works of art. The interpreters include: Ann Levison, Marcia Shannon, Lori Richards, Jane Colden, Andrea Piller, Caroline Farrell, Gil Terrill, Carlos Gueddes, Leanne Parcher, Sue Langlois, Shannon Brown, Rheni Tauchid, Sandra Olney, Suzy Lamont,  Natalie Twiddy, Bill Lennox, Janus Bellanger, Elaine Collins, Michèle La Rose and Michelle Stenson.
