Adult Art Course: Acrylic Painting Studio

An exploration of acrylic painting methods designed to engage all artistic levels. Artist Maureen Sheridan will guide participants through various studies in acrylic painting, including still-life, abstract and layered compositions. You will enjoy a balance of both instructional and individual time for experimentation using a variety of techniques. Materials Provided. Fee: $180, $150 members and students.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY
Since studying Fine Art at Queen’s University,  Maureen Sheridan has been painting professionally, being represented in various Canadian galleries.  Her art is in private, corporate and international collections.  For many years Maureen has taught painting, drawing and art history at St. Lawrence College, the Kingston School of Art and Loyalist College.

Maureen has been an award winner for painting in various art exhibitions including ‘Best Painting’ at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition She enjoys working with students to develop their artistic potential and skills in art.
